REFERENCE INTEREST RATES

All Lombard interest rates are calculated with reference to the following rates:

  • 1, 3, 6 and 12 month Sterling Daily Libor (London Interbank Offered Rate)
    LIBOR means in respect of any particular day the annual percentage rate of interest stated to us by The Royal Bank of Scotland PLC to be the rate at which the bank offered the relevant sterling deposits for a period matching the frequency of your payments to prime banks in the London Inter-Bank Market at or about 11.00 am on the Agreement Date and at the same frequency thereafter. If this date is not a day on which the London Inter-Bank Market trades then the immediately preceding trading day will apply.
  • FHBR
    This is the base rate of the Finance and Leasing Association. To view the current FHBR and for further information about how it is calculated please visit: http://www.fla.org.uk/research/FHBR
  • NWBR
    This is the base rate of the National Westminster Bank Plc and changes when the Bank of England base rate changes. The current NWBR rate is 0.5%
